Parivar welcomes persons from diverse backgrounds – who are enthusiastic, creative, hardworking, and active to become part of our journey as volunteers. We are constantly on the lookout for new ways to engage with people who can bring in their experiences and skills to support our work.
To ensure the most efficient use of everyone’s time and resources, Parivar realizes the necessity for a harmonious working relationship with our volunteer base.
We hence recommend that you fill a form with the required information so that we can understand your expectations, interests, skill sets, and needs and also match it to the organization’s expectations and requirements.
Before starting the volunteering process, we also require the volunteers to visit the organization, to get a real-life glimpse into our work. This will help to understand the area in which your volunteering would support us and help make a plan which would be mutually beneficial to the client, organization, and you.
Some of the areas where you can volunteer are:
- Participating, organizing, and assisting in any of Parivar’s programs, camps, events, and activities
- Documentation, Data collection, and Research writing
- Translation of material into Bengali, Hindi
- Designing of posters, brochures, stickers, documentaries, and other audio-visual material
- Planning and executing recreational activities for our clients
- Providing relevant training/workshops/seminars to staff and/or beneficiaries
- Fundraising initiatives
- Photography and Videography
